Principal's Message

Welcome To Palmetto Elementary School!

Faythia Brown-CarpenterI am Faythia Brown-Carpenter, proud Principal of Palmetto Elementary School. We are a proud school that works hard to reach excellence in all that we do. As we continue to strive for the best, we continue to have high expectations for our students. Our spirit and optimism and our unwavering dedication to growth and improvement shows that we believe that “We are Stronger Together, and we are one team”. It is through that mindset combined with our leadership, learning, and resource capacities that we have been able to create and maintain an environment in which students feel supported and empowered to succeed!
As a school, we partner with our families and community leaders to create a school with high quality instruction to support for our students as they work hard to achieve their academic goals.
In addition to providing academic support, we also offer enrichment opportunities: This include AM clubs: Panther Pacers, STEM Club, Battle of the Books, Girls Who Code, Drama Club, Orff Ensemble, Chorus, and Brass Band, SWAG and GEMS.
As the leader of this outstanding school, I am committed to the success of ALL students under my direction. As a team, our staff will continue to provide a nurturing atmosphere for our students; one that caters to the academic, social and emotional need of every student. We aim to prepare our students for future learning and a lifetime of success!

We are Palmetto! Home of the Panthers! Once A Panther, Always A Panther!! #PantherPride!
