Welcome To Palmetto Elementary School

Dear Palmetto Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Palmetto Elementary! I’m honored to continue serving as your principal and thrilled to begin another exciting chapter alongside our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and engaged families. Together, we’ll ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive through personalized support, high expectations, and a commitment to excellence.

At Palmetto, we believe that education is not just about academics; it’s about inspiring lifelong learners, empowering young minds, and building character. This year, we’re focusing on student growth through intentional goal-setting, meaningful learning experiences, and a school culture rooted in respect, positivity, and connection.

Success is never a solo journey. Parents, teachers, support staff, community partners, and administrators all play a vital role in nurturing each child’s academic and social development. As we work together, we’ll continue to strengthen our culture of collaboration and achievement.

We encourage every family to stay connected and involved. Please join our School Advisory Council and Parent Teacher Association, and check in regularly through our website, ParentSquare app, and social media for updates on school events. Be sure to communicate openly with your child’s teacher and use Skyward to monitor progress throughout the year.

If you ever have questions, feedback, or would like to meet to discuss your thoughts, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at patricia.cells@ocps.net or call our office at 407-858-3150. I look forward to working together this year as we continue to Dream, Believe, and Achieve!

Here’s to a school year filled with progress, possibilities, and PANTHER PRIDE!

Warmly,
Ms. Cells
